Fixing Old Spartan and Ridgid Sewage Cameras

Issue

• Spartan Camera: Blacks out randomly & torn end whip wiring
• Ridgid Camera: Previously repaired, in pieces, no led lights (non operational without lights)

Work Done

• Initial Troubleshooting:
  • Tested Spartan camera, confirmed issue appears after maneuvering, and slight artifacts in video feed. Tested on second monitor as well.
  • Ridgid camera operational, LEDs don’t turn on except randomly.
• Spartan re-soldering:
  • Disconnected and re-soldered every connection up to whip, artifacts still present. Black out gone. Initially glued whip back together with M3 marine epoxy. Falied on first use. Whip reconstruction needed.
  • Cut whip shorter, reconstruction not stable. Recreate whip next.
